When a baby kitten or puppy is born, its immune system is not yet mature; and therefore, they are vulnerable to infection. Vaccinations reduce that risk drastically.

Greentree Animal Hospital, Dr. Yocum and his staff, always takes good care of my dogs, Walter, Molly and Penny. They are caring, patient and thorough. Highly recommend them for anyone looking for a great veterinarian!

Dr. Yocum has injected my dog Addie 2x with stem cells to repair a partially torn ACL.  He is the kindest, doctor & always follows up with any questions.  His office is so clean & his staff very friendly and attentive.

I cannot say enough good things about this practice. Dr. Yocum is so kind and warm- my cat loves him. The staff is fantastic and we feel really cared for. Prices are really good, too. Thank you, Greentree!

Dr. Yokum and the whole Greentree staff and technicians are the best! This is a boutique animal hospital that provides comprehensive care and partners with other specialists to extend their services while making you feel like part of the Greentree family at every step. Our dog had an  ACL repair and later, an amputation due to cancer. They are warm and caring of the animals, but also empathetic to the humans. Dr. Yokum kept me informed and called me several times during these procedures, even on weekends when he was out of town. I drive across town, passing many animal hospitals to get to Greentree. They are worth my dog’s anxiety of a long car ride to get to them.

Our dog got into sugar free gum and got xylitol poisoning, which caused him to seizure. I had never taken my dog to Greentree animal hospital, but was worried about losing our dog so my wife  called near closing time while I rushed him up to their facility in South Elkhorn. We were greeted at the door, and the team instantly took action.  As a dog owner, they comforted me and let me know that he was in great hands. The doctor was thorough, explained everything to me and what the treatment plan was. I will say I have never felt comfortable with a vet like I did with Greentree and their team. This is certainly going to be my new vet and I highly recommend them to anyone in the area.
